Man, this one came down to the wire kinda... I hope I don't usually letter strips past midnight :'D but it's up, and I still slept over seven hours last night (XD) so it's all good! Just uploading it in the morning before work.
There's a lot I'd love to talk about, but no time this morning, so I'll leave it until the next update. Please feel free to hang out in the forums until then!
I hope you enjoyed the update! Have a fabulous rest of the week, and catch you guys again on Monday!
Ahahaha muffin XD Kylie would probably be like "nope I have no idea who that is" when the guards come to arrest Nemi for punching a kid XD (I can already see Nemi making the ;A; face as Kylie turns away from her deliberately XDD)
You know how in some RPGs, all you really want sometimes is directions? XD Man, the number of times I got stuck just getting lost... Clear directions can be a great prize!! ;D
"If you don't mind me saying...you're gorgeous."
"If you don't mind me asking...are you seeing anyone?"
"If you don't mind me asking...are you free tonight?"
Sounds like a servant passed on to the new master of the house, when the old master left. Kylie's adopted~into brother? Debatable without further evidence, but keep that Stone handy if they meet him.
You can read the biography of Archer by Alicia linked in the author's notes (the last page I think) to get a little more information on his situation, if you want~ ;D
Good thing they have that blood crystal thing, eh? XD
Hmmmmm XD maaaaybeeeeee... though if he's supposed to be 'trapped', having a personal servant and flouncing around Jem Citadel seems like a rather nice situation to be trapped in XDD imho ;D
Awww, I'm glad you find him so cute Jarvi-nii <3 X3
He's a relatively optimistic guy even with the stacked deck! ;3;*
I need to really make the saera race page soon >__< but yeah, the coloured markings are natural birthmarks for them :) they can't choose how it looks, and it's unique to each saeren X3
Looks like three extra colours in the last two panel's speech bubbles to me. I'm not quite sure, but it looks as if "upper tier" and "quarterly tournament" are getting the same, brownish one, although the second "upper tier" looks a tiny bit different (and purple). (That might be because of the surrounding colours though.)
A greyish blue for "commoner grounds", and green for the "world guild branch".
I don't remember rufi having done this before... Or did she?
It looks to me like "Quarterly Tournament" is brown and "Upper Tier" is gray. And I think she did do the different colour thing before... at least with "world guild branch"
Yesss.... I coloured the two 'upper tier's differently because I was a butt and was too lazy to copy and paste the hex code so I just eyeballed the shade and I'm sorry I'll go back and fix it next week XDDD
But yeah, regarding the different extra colours, I've done it on occasion - sometimes for spells, sometimes for places, etc.
In this case, because I was throwing out so many new terms, I really wanted to keep the readers on track, and I also wanted to kinda give the video game feels (you know when they bold certain terms for you in the dialogue boxes?) so that's why there are random colours in the fonts. It's kind of a test-run for me to see if I can get away with doing it so often, I don't want to overdo it and make it too distracting :'D so feel free to say if it's a bit too weird! Easily redacted~ XD;
Rufi, I just finished reading The Lethian (ps everyone should go read it b/c it's amazingly good + it'll help support Rufi) and I just wanted to say it was incredible. Are you going to do a sequel? (I'd definitely read that btw) also ...*sigh* this is kind of a geeky question but are you ever going to make/work on/have a video game happen in Sharie's version of the world?
Cj, that is so incredibly sweet of you to let me know what you thought of it!! ;3;* <3 Thank you so much! I'm really happy you enjoyed it! X3
All my ideas for a sequel right now are a bit too nebulous, so I'm just waiting for a really concrete sequel plot to hit me before I try it. For now, the book stands on its own, though I am working on a spin-off project in comic format - I hope readers will find it at least vaguely interesting XD; <3
And I am a total geek because I can and will geek out over your last question so! bad!! XD <333 Well, I've written a draft for a simple tabletop RP for it, but I haven't officially tried anything yet.
Honestly, I'd love to hear anything you have in mind regarding that (like what you'd personally like to see or would enjoy playing) so if you like, please PM/email me or post about it in the forums? >3<*)/
Awww yay, Outlaw! <3 X3 I'm glad you're stoked for iiiit! <33 We'll see how much the characters get involved in it... I might just have them not get involved at all :P *insert boo-ing crowd noises here* :'D
Oh, and thank you! XDD I guess people like seeing Nemi get whacked in the face, must a sign I need to draw that more often? ;D
Poor Saera though. Be freeeee~
And eeeeeyeeeeaaaahhhhhh okay we'll see when we get there XDD
I love Nemi's reaction ;~;
Nemi is being Nemi as usual XD
...Like "Punch him in the face."
"If you don't mind me asking...are you seeing anyone?"
"If you don't mind me asking...are you free tonight?"
Sorry.
He may or may not be important~ ;D
<3
Good thing they have that blood crystal thing, eh? XD
...and I love that Nemi face :)
And yay <3
And he's still so cute <melts>
But poor guy, having his contract not discussed with him.. it still really dodgy :<

But most certainly he can give directions, yep! XD
Also, that third panel is &^$#&* excellence!
