Wow has this chapter opened up with a ton of TALKY-TALKY or what >_> and omigosh it's not even over yet. Welp, hope you guys don't fall asleep waiting for the action to happen, though the good news is that once it starts, it ramps up all the way for quite a while. >_>;;
Aaand hey guys, I have another piece of 100 Palette Challenge fanart of SF to share :D this one by Argylefox, who has been like a super contributor to the thread and surprised me with this cool Cain fanart~! :D
Thanks so much Argylefox! :D Be sure to check out his other contributions to the thread~! <3
Hope you had a good week! Have a really great weekend, everyone, and see you on Monday~ :D Thanks always for reading.
Kylie: And THAT, newbie, is how you play your typical RPG with Action Time. Turn-based is for pansies. Geez, remind me to lend you Final Fantasy VI one of these days...
Cain: ;^; O... Okay...
(TBF, never played Action Time until couple years ago, and still bad at it);P Also, haha, Kylie Bop to the noggin~ Everyone's so cute in the first panel.
She remembered while she was outside that brief moment that Cain has no basics of battle strategy and realised she has to assume he's a blank slate. XD; most people know it already at his age! (He's older than Kylie btw.)
Ehehehe, thank you D! :) I know they're chibified but it was still a surprising amount of work. >_> Mostly because they're full body in full battle gear. Kylie's armour agh. XD; thanks for letting me know the effort was worth it!!
Ahahaha yesh XD Kylie can be a patient teacher if she tries! Seia too. :)
And I know, dat Cain Factor... XD;;;; i won't complain though!! Lol.
And gosh seabiscuit, you are too kind! XD; Thank you, though. Probably I just feel worse about it because it's my art. It's like listening to a recording of yourself singing it just sounds spectacularly worse to you. XD;; But yeah thank you for being so encouraging <333 :) I'm still hoping to update it to be slightly more consistent art style wise!
I know Cain will be able to put this to good use! Kylie.. you did the right thing in not telling him off, but teaching him <3. Good on ya! (lol I ALWAYS type "Kyle" first XDDDD)
Teaching does not come naturally to characters like Kylie, but she does have it in her. Cain just has to draw it out by occasionally saying something really mean and pointed, maybe. XD;;; (Just kidding!)
What do you mean by Run mythos, by the way? I tried to Google it and got some weird stuff (Gore-tex, anyone?) and when I minused the Gore stuff out of the search terms I got Rise of Mythos? Was that what you were referring to?
XDDD Okay DON'T feel like a big dumbo!! I'm the one who totally didn't get it and is NOW getting is LOL. XDDD I was so fixated on it being a reference thing I wasn't getting that I didn't take in the fact you didn't capitalise it! XD;;;
Let's just shake our heads, let the dust settle and pretend this never happened... XD

*this is Rufi's reply to Outlaw's initial post*
I am totally an RPG dork myself as you can probably tell XD;; I think both our webcomics are very telling of that, LOL. Let's be dorks together :D yippee!
"You don't realise how important you are." Good one, Kylie!
Yes, it puts some pressure on Cain. But that I think he can handle. What he needs however is drive and self-esteem. And this should give him the first and help him acquire the latter with time.
Second thing: I wonder about anime. Did you ever watch Juuni Kokki (Twelve Kingdoms)?
If not, I'd advise you to.
Thank you. Not bad for usually just spouting more or less the first thing that comes to my mind. ;)
And yes, you should add it to your list. It's actually one of my favourite fantasy series. And even though I've already been warned they are a bit different plotwise, I should finally get around to read at least some of the novels the series is based on.
You'll have to be patient a bit at the start. They're not rushing things along but take some time to develop the characters and world. But I really see that as a plus.
I will admit though, that the civil war arc later in the series is my favourite one. (You'll see when you get there.)
No really, add it to your list. At the top, if possible!

And yis bops on the noggin for all <3 *bop*
I think Kylie should have told him that at the very beginning though ;p

See Kylie...You don't haveta be so harsh.;D
Cain is too adorable here as always!
(The Cain factor is truly invincible. Still an awesome bit o' Cain art!;D)
(Also you were way too harsh on yourself in that one thread! When I read through SF for the first time I was super impressed by the starting pages!)
And I know, dat Cain Factor... XD;;;; i won't complain though!! Lol.

Also I did tweak that particular bit of dialogue to make sure it worked so I'm happy to hear you say that too <333 *happy hug*
-STAY AWAY FROM ENEMY
-All at 100%, cast Haste on Nemi>Kylie>Mike>Self
-Kylie at 75% or less Heal
-Nemi at 90% or less Heal
-Mike at 50% or less Heal
-Barrier when told to
-Cure status effects as they happen
-Stronger healing magics if party member at 25% or less
-Revive unconscious party members

Also good explanation for that short of time. I think they're both starting to get the hang of it. Cain of working in a group and Kylie of teaching.
I think they'll get the hang of it~ :) ... well, if I give them the time to actually get the hang of it. Which I may not. >_>
No worries, I still don't know what RPG mythos is. XD;;; I Googled THAT and came up with a bunch of things! I'm sorry, I'm hopeless...
I mean, like... how RPGs function and how it's all stats and skills and the like...
Jeez, I feel like a big dumbo now... Sorry... >.>
Let's just shake our heads, let the dust settle and pretend this never happened... XD

Kylie was away for maybe three minutes outside the cave, but she thought about exactly what she needed to say before she came charging back in. XD;
I haven't seen Juuni Kokki - I haven't actually heard of it before, either >.> I will add it to my to-watch list? XD;

So many things on my to-watch and to-read list! >_> Why don't I have 40 hours a day to do stuff I want on top of working~~~ D:
